Anne, Your hubby bought you a nice bike. It may seem too big and heavy now, but if you take the safety course , practice in traffic free areas, you will get used to it. I like it when people buy Savages but it's not worth taking a finacial loss on the yamaha just because you won't take the time to get used to it. I been around enough dealers to know they are not going to give you back the money he shelled out for the bike. Frankly, you seem a little spoiled. I wish someone would buy me a bike and then say get whatever you want if you don't like it. I ride a Savage mainly because I can't afford to fix a high tech bike and I can't afford better. I'm happy with my choice as it has been very reliable, but it was kind of a shock to come down from a Shadow 1100. Good luck on either choice
